Arpin Doing Texas Two-Step At Rattlesnake 150

Fort Worth, TX, United States (AHN) - Steve Arpin has got the Texas two-step down.

Friday night the youngster won his second consecutive ARCA Series race, winning the Rattlesnake 150 at Texas Motor Speedway.

"This is a great, great racetrack," Arpin said. "We had a really good car all night, and Hoosier gave us a super good tire.''

Arpin, who scored his first career ARCA last week at Salem, Ind., powered by Grant Enfinger in Turn 2 on a Lap 91 restart and led the final eight circuits. He then had to hold off Craig Goess in a green white checkered finish.

Goess finished second for the second straight week.

"It's great to run good, to run up front, but it's disappointing to be this close and not win," Goess said. "We had a little miscue in the pits, but I don't know whether we could have beat Steve tonight anyway.

Enfinger placed third and was followed by Justin Marks and Robb Brent.
