Lacey Joins Team Seattle Driver Lineup

Dave Lacey will be joining Don Kitch Jr. James Gue, and Leh Keen for the 24 Hours of Daytona on January 30-31, 2010.

"Team Seattle is elated to have such a qualified driver assume this fourth position," said Kitch, who founded Team Seattle in 1997. "In and out of the car, Dave is perfect for our racing and philanthropic mission."

A native of Durban, South Africa, Lacey resides in Toronto. He has competed in GRAND-AM since 2000, winning in the GTO class in a 2000 event at Mid-Ohio. He is also a three-time winning in Continental Tire Challenge competition, including the Fresh From Florida 200 at Daytona in 2002.

The 2008 Rolex 24 marked the end of Team Seattle's 12-year run at Daytona, with the team raising more than $3 million in the process. Team Seattle is making its GRAND-AM return in 2010, looking to raise an addition $500,000 for the Seattle Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center.
