Unloading Underway at Daytona

GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 are finding the weather at Daytona International Speedway warmer than anticipated as unloading is underway for the Roar Before the Rolex 24 testing that begins Friday.

A number of cars have new paint schemes. The No. 90 Menards Spirit of Daytona Porsche Coyote won't be missed with a brilliant yellow scheme, while Michael Shank Racing's No. 60 is painted burgandy and gold to reflect a new sponsor that will be announced this weekend. Dempsey Racing's Mazda is now blue and silver, the new Speedworks BMW Riley is white with blue trim, while both of Matt Connolly's cars are white with blue and orange stripes.

Also to be announced is a driver swap between two top Daytona Prototype teams.

Kasper Andersen, a 25-year resident of Denmark, is making his first visit to Daytona.

"It looks big, everything," said Andersen, whose ride will be announced on Friday. "I'm excited to see how the track looks from inside the car."
